Blank page error

Hi all,

I just had this problem today and I could not solve it.

Style being outdated will never cause blank page, so that's not the problem.

Problem is most likely caused by ether incomplete file or incorrectly written cache. Make sure that all template files have been uploaded correctly and delete all php files in directory "cache".

Thank you for your answer.

I already deleted /ca_black folder from server so many times and uploaded again downloading it from another working installation.
I cleaned the cache, I refreshed style, template, image-set in ACP, I also repaired dbase tables and installed and unistalled ca_black style so many times but it is always leading to a blank page ... I dont know what else to try.

I could install again CA_BLACK version ColorizeId and it works.
Whenever I remove it and I install original CA_BLACK version it stops to work and give a blank page.

This is very odd. Is maybe your template doing any change in the database which is not compatible with original version ?

after unistall, deleting all folder /ca_black, uploading again, installing, clearing cache, refreshing template, themes, images set in ACP ect etc

I feel a stupid ... I am using phpBB2 since 2003 with your ca_aphrodite over 2 forums and I am using phpBB3 only in last 3 months ... I dont' really know where the trick is to get also version 1.08 working.

There is a error in overall_header.html in that zip file:

remove second line.

That error is only in file downloadable from stsoftware.biz, its not in style downloadable from colorizeit.

what I can't still understand is why the same zip downloaded from stsoftware.biz was perfectly working before I tryed to install zip downloaded from colorizeit (I just chose with cursor red colour).
I am sure of what I am saying since it is installed on another forum and still perfectly running there even if there is error in code as you stated above.
I also downloaded /ca_black folder from this working server, uploaded on faulty install and still getting blank page even if using same files !
I am just trying to understand where could be the bug which is generating the error now and not before.

Anyway just edited the source code as you explained above, and it is working like a charm.

That's because compiled version of old faulty file was still in cache. You need to purge cache in phpBB control panel or manually remove all php files in cache directory after uploading new files.
